I'm a computer scientist who wants to keep myself updated with the latest stuff and information about this field. It doesn't have to be exactly computer science. It could be technology, science or something like that as well.
First of all, do you know of any really good news sites about technology, computers or science in general? There's so many sites out there, I don't have so much time to read everything everywhere so one or two websites with qualitative content and much updates. I'm not so fond of searching for pages and read junk either, I prefer to have a website which I could regulary look for updates on.
Even if my education is enough, it's always a good idea to regulary read articles about things. I have tried computer magazines a couple of times, but I don't want a magazine with 70 pages of junk, while about 5 pages are interesting. The rest are just tests on boring hardware and other uninteresting things.
What do you do to keep yourself updated? I may be lazy, but it's harder than it sounds to actually find a good website about this. I'm interested in computer science, programming, unix/linux, math, common sense in computing :> and all that stuff.
