having a hard time with permissions for hard drive

i cant store anything on my second hard drive because of the permissons. what should i do? Please help.

Could you tell us some info about the drive? What file system is it using (NTFS, FAT, EXT3, etc)? I just answered a question like this, so follow those instructions. It will work the same, even though you have a hard drive. Make sure that the drive is unmounted.
