Looking around my dad's office I found an ancient fossilized Win 98 Toshibia Satellite 2105CDS Laptop. Naturally I have an inkling to install Linux on it. The Laptop boots (surprising I know) into Safe Mode, it's missing a system file though, so it can't boot into normal mode. But that's not the problem. I want to boot linux, but it refuses to boot the disc drive because there's no BIOS screen. Help please.
EDIT: I've figured out how to boot cd rom/floppy, but it doesn't recognize ubuntu
