I just installed Ubuntu and was playing around installing aps and made a mistake along the way. I am getting a "Could not initialize the package information" message. Error message says 'E:Type '“deb' is not known on line 62 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list, E:The list of sources could not be read.'
I included my source list below, hope it's enough info.
Thanks for any help in advance
#deb cdrom:[Ubuntu 8.10 _Intrepid Ibex_ - Release i386 (20081029.5)]/ intrepid main restricted
