Is it possible to reinstall my Kubuntu 8.10 distro using the command line?
I've completely stuffed KDE4 and can no longer boot into any form of desktop environment - I can access the command line, so a clean reinstall from here would be great. Any ideas?

I have solved this in a round-about fashion by finding a way to uninstall KDE4 and reinstall KDM and kubuntu-desktop. See this thread for how I did it: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1000467
