I'm getting a message on startup with 8.04 (where we're stuck until we get some sort of response to https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/samba/+bug/298126):

[139.413226] nfs: starting lockd failed (do you have nfs-common installed?).
[139.413282] Continuing anyway, but this workaround will go away soon.

Well, I checked, and I do have nfs-common installed, so I'm puzzled. Any clues?

This is really annoying. Is no one else experiencing this problem?
