I'm runnin 8.10 on my Dell inspiron E1505 and i'm having wireless issues. Whenever i start my computer up from being suspended or hibernating, the wireless pretty much doesn't work. I usually have to kill nm-applet or restart my session for it to work. Sometimes i'll just be online and it will randomly disconnect. It's not a problem on the network end, pretty sure it's on my end. Has anyone ever heard of this? I have the same problems no matter where i am. At home i connect through WPA personal, and at work i connect through WPA enterprise. It just keeps bringing up the window asking me to verify my credentials when they're exactly the same as when i was connecting earlier. Can anyone help me diagnose this problem?

actually logging out does not fix the problem, i have to do a restart to fix it. but that only fixes it temporarily
I have this same problem. The problem seems to happen completely randomly. Usually a restart fixes it, but not always.
I'm running Ubuntu 8.10(installed with Wubi on Windows 7 partition) on my Asus X59SL notebook.
Same thing happens to me (both on Ubuntu and on Vista)...Any luck on a solution?
I had a similar problem. Updated the firmware on my wireless router, now everything has been working fine.
