Hi my laptop is presario v5000 series. it has ubuntu 8.04 running on it. apparently there is some problem with fans ever since I installed 8.04. or is it a coincidence with my system fans failure? How would I know?
I searched this fan problems but seems like this problem is there for only dell systems.
I should also add that firefox, opera, text editor, image viewer etc every application crashes with high cpu usage and system shuts down for high temperature. Please advise. thanks in advance.
