Hi All

I just installed ubuntu-server on my desktop. The problem is, my USB wireless card is not working. If I check /etc/network/interfaces, this is all that is there:

#The loopback network interface
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback

this is weird because this USB device worked right out of the box on ubuntu-desktop. Any ideas how I should be editing my interfaces file, or what other changes I may need to do? Let me know if there are ay commands I need to run. Keep in mind I do nothave internet access on that box so installing programs is a no-go. Any help is appreciated.

Cheers, Adam

BUMP. If need be, I can move this box to right beside my router and plug it in. If I were to re-install ubuntu-desktop, then use the cd to upgrade to server, then delete gnome, would this accomplish the same thing as install server, but hopefully allow my wireless to work? Please, any help is appreciated.

Cheers, Adam
