Hello! I have a problem when switching to headset, front speakers on my laptop doesn't mute. In ubuntu 8.04 haven't this problem. I cannot find any solution to this.
My hardware: Asus x50n, card: HDA NVidia, Chip Realtek ALC660-VD Software: Ubuntu 8.10 64bit (on 32bit same problem), ALSA 1.0.18 (with 1.0.17 same problem)
