I have a laptop I just installed Ubuntu on, everything works fine. What I want to know is, what can I do with the screens in xorg? I have an s-video out and an analog monitor output, I set my xorg config for dual head. Is there a way I can activate and deactivate screens in xorg, for example if I plug a monitor into my laptop, is there a means of activating the analog port so that I can go into dual head mode without having to restart Xorg? And is there a similar means of working with s-video output, which is supported by the driver? Just how dynamic can xorg be?

what kind of video card are you using?
I have a radeon 9000 mobility, I have the drivers installed so I know the hardware works. It's just that I don't know how I could say plug a monitor in and then instruct Xorg to send a signal to it.
