Hi,
I want to configure my ubuntu 8.10 installation as a digital videorecorder. I have an technotrend tv-card (nexus-s) and another one (Hauppauge) for DVB-T. My video card only supports SPDIF and HDMI, but my TV is a rather old one. I want to have my complete desktop on the TV (no LCD). Is it possible? For me? Can anybody help me to configure my system or provide me with a how-to for this matter?
