And the instructions that came with it say.......? Unlike Windows, as a Linux user you most likely are not running with privileges that would allow you to install malicious code so I would not worry about it. I am running Firestarter which is available from the repositories. But as long as you are paranoid don't forget to install some kind of root kit preventer too.

I just discovered if I open it with the admisitorator it opens how do I set it to do that all the time?

Opps, I don't mean Firestarter, I meant to say ClamAV. It's been a long week.

High temperature cast steel valves are designed and manufactured to provide reliable shutoff and smooth operation under a high temperature environment. The specified bolt torque is maintained during valve assembly, using specialized torque limiting equipment, to prevent valves from leaking between the valve body and bonnet and providing reliable long term operation once the cast steel valve is put into service.

Didn't know Avast had a x64 deb there. I thought it was only for x32 Ubuntu.

Thats what I thought, in this case, I would prefer that it install a x64 version, Avast makes a full x64 AV for Windows so I am sure Linux users would be getting one soon as well.
