I'm a longtime Winblowz ](*,) user and I have just recently started using linux. I own a modded xbox with an Xenium modchip and have used gentoox linux on it and have very much liked it, so I wanted to get linux on my pc too. I am currently using the Live CD of ubuntu, but am saving up my money so by Feb. or March I can build my own pc. I was originally thinking about buying Suse and installing it on my new pc, or putting gentoo on it since I like gentooX so much, but am a little freaked out by the hard gentoo installation. I don't really care anymore about getting an extra 3% of performance by using gentoo, and I wanted a free, easy to use distro with a good community. I found ubuntu, and it has everything I need. I also have had someone recommend me ubuntu because of its good compatability with another WinXP machine. I am very much enjoying ubuntu and it is great- big thanks to the developers!!:D Ubuntu has a great community it looks like so I look forward to the great experience! Thanks guys!
BTW- I am 16 so if I say anything that sounds I wierd remember I am not living by myself yet ( I am not 30 and still living with my mom-LOL).
