Ive been using ubuntu for a little over a year, I have never successfully had the official ATI Drivers install. When i do it disables open GL and desktop effects blow up. The only way to fix it is to reinstall. So i havent tried for quiet sometime. Does anyone know if there are Proprietary for this card, or even third party drivers that actually work. Some games have issues with open gl because im using the generic drivers. Thanks for your all your help!
