Hi all,
Has anyone worked out a smooth way to record the desktop with compiz enabled in Ubuntu?
I tinkered with gtk-recordmydesktop, istanbul, and others but still don't have a perfect, non-flickering way to produce a video :(

Can anyone help?
Strange, my recordmydesktop worked fine. Or are you trying to record video within video?

Also, what graphics card do you have?
Not really video, just general compiz things.

Well I can't do it but that's because I have ati =)
No go here as well. Theres flickering when i try to record my desktop usage with compiz-fusion. No idea if its because i am now using a Nvidia video card/new drivers or because its a new version of compiz or ubuntu. In 7.10 i didn't have this problem but it popped up in 8.04 and 8.10
My videos are old though, they're from when I had my Intel 945GM Laptop. That may be why.
