I'm looking for anybody with experience in using a fanless mini-itx system as a backend. I'm planning on using a hardware encoder card to handle most of the work. I may or may not use an external drive (I probably will, as I've got one which will sleep while not in use). I don't currently have HD, but I may in the future. There will be a maximum of two frontends, only one of which will be in use at any one time.

What are the pros/cons of this? Any things you regret or especially like? Anything you'd change?

Anything information you can provide would be of great help!

Thank you!
