Ok first a confession, I am actually using the Desktop version, should have used server version and I am guessing it doesn't have this issue.
Want to use my BUS (box under stairs), without a screen, problem is when I restart the BUS it won't boot.
Can anyone help?
Why won't it boot?
If it is a BIOS limitation, not sure what to do. You may have to disable the onboard video in the BIOS. Do you get any warning beeps?

Won't boot, I didn't say it wouldn't POST, BIOS is fine, and everything is dandy if I have a screen connected.
Fairly sure it's something that has changed in 8.10 as it was ok using 8.04, I read that x now creates dynamically (probably based on EDID of monitor).
