Gents:

Running x64HH_8.04 on AMD 5400+ / NV7600 kit:

After upgrading from DD_6.06 to HH_8.04 I have had constant inconsistent performance with DVD playback using Totem-Gstreamer. Sometimes I got a black-screen, other times the "talkover" ... random baloney!

Yesterday I changed by DVD playback by installing XINE-ui. So Totem-xine handles the DVDs. Now they play "normally" in English or w/subtitles etcetc.

Why is lusr-Gstreamer the default if it can't do the job ?

also current totem-gstreamer has a bug that blocks users to change audio in multi-channel video files. I tried only with MKV files though...
