The breezy instal cd has "windows" installs for ooffice, gaim, etc. It also has a url for more info. What's the url? :D

the Live CD of Ubuntu has OpenSource software for WIndows. Insert the LIVE CD In windwos and you will be able to use it.
I think that is what you were looking for.
