Can't Reinstall Photoshop cs2

Hey

So i installed wine after some time with ubuntu becuase gimp just wasn't good enough for my needs. i downloaded photoshop cs2 becuase that's the version wine could run. but i left a installation folder on the desktop so i uninstalled it to get the folder in the wine directory. but now i can't reinstall it. i asks if i wan't to remove or repair i say repair (also tried to remove several times) but then it just stops giving me "your system has not been modified to run this application" i have tried deleting "uinstall wine software" and also the folders through terminal "regedit" also delted the icons in /.local/ folder.. runing ubuntu 8.10 and the wine version that is in the synaptic. already have googled around and couldn't find anything to help.

i actually didn't pirate the software becuase my dad has the dvd.. so i have the rights to download it... because i couldn't figure out how to install a dvd throug wine
