Hi all, This message happens to me with my old username ShirishAg75

#2

And what was the message you entered?

#3

Well, usually this happens when all parts of the message have been quoted or wrapped in > quote tags like this. Basically all you have to do is add a character or a short message at the end of the post.

The post above was just me testing to see if you could actually just enter 2 character replies to quotes :)

You're indeed off topic.

U2.

My preceding post was to show that the forum will indeed accept a post consisting of at least one character as long as it's not a whitespace character.

So, if OP can not enter posts with just one non-whitespace-character, I would suspect that the problem is on the client side.

#16

Agreed. And, just to point out again, anything that is quoted in QUOTE tags are not considered to be part of the text.

#17

The post I was entering was atleast 5 lines, not one character or two characters. I do not know why or how my original ShirishAg75 gives me this, this has started happening last week only. Not before.

You still give no clue as to the messages you are trying to post. Do they contain any UF tags at all, such as quote, or do they contain any square brackets such as [] ?

Here's an idea: log in with the original account, go to Quick Links >> Edit Options, then select the basic text editor. Try again to post with that account.

Maybee changing the title of the post is also considered to be creating a post??

I'll try it in a sec..
