Neverwinter Nights cropped on widescreen

I just loaded up NWN again for the first time in a long time. I think I last played on Gutsy, and I know I last played on standard monitor.

Now I'm on Intrepid with a widescreen monitor, and the game works fine (well, after I fixed the load script per another bug) but the bottom of the screen is cropped off. During load, save, and character creation, I have to guess which button is which because I can only see the very top of the button. During gameplay, I can't see the hotkey assignments for weapons/spells/skills at all. Doesn't make the game unplayable, but very inconvenient.

Googling tells me NWN should handle widescreen, but for me it doesn't. Any suggestions?

We should switch monitors. Mine isn't a widescreen, but NWN must think it is because my game is cropped off the left. Makes anything in the inventory's left-hand side out of sight. Very difficult unless you have something 2 squares wide there. If I try changing the game's resolution, it just crashes to desktop.

You can sett custom resolution in the config file, NWN will follow it (L)
