Hi, I have just installed mythtv on my laptop which has Nvidia 7950 go card which has a TV-in slot.Now, I am not sure whether this a capture card, but I think it should be as it has a slot for TV-in. I don't know which type pf card to select in Capture Card settings.

oops...maybe the TV slot is a TV-out connection...let me confirm this.
Ok I have checked and rechecked,the slot is definitely a TV-in.Now, does anyone know how this can be made to work with MythTV.I have installed the software properly, but don't know which type of card to select to configure it properly.

What are you using for a tuner? As far as I know the 7950go is just your video processor.
Sorry I am new to this...So I will have to get a tuner. Can you suggest a cheap decent one that can be made to work with a laptop.
