Im so sorry i never understood how to download the powerpc version of xubuntu for the FAQs thats stickied.

When i go to the download page it says its been moved to ports, and i dont get that D:

So sorry, but does anyone mind actually giving me a link to download a version of xubuntu that works on powerpc G3? a direct iso torrent?

While Xubuntu is nice, it doesn't have the same resources dedicated to it as Ubuntu ppc, which are small enough as it is.

Even if you want to run Xubuntu, I always recommend getting your feet wet with Ubuntu, as you might not face desktop-environment issues along with the normal hurdles we encounter as well. One can always add "xubuntu-desktop" later to their Ubuntu install.

Don't get me wrong, I really XFCE as I'm runing it with OpenSuse on my G5 iMac after years of Debian / Ubuntu. It's all good. :)
