Hi,

I have 2 Mobo's laying here, and I thought that it might be cool if I could make both of them run 1 computer. Is this possible? And if so, how would I go about doing this?

I don't think it is, since motherboards are basically the controller for your other devices in your computer, it'd basically be like having two heads.

Instead, get a motherboard which can support multiple CPUs and such if you want to go that route.

What you could do is effectively buy two computers and then connect them (not that simple, but you'll probably find tutorials) and making a parallel processing thingie.

A mini cluster would be fun to make & get working, but then having something to do with it is another matter.

You could use it for folding online.

Well, with the two motherboards you're likely to have, it's not possible.

However, back in the 1990s Apple released a Macintosh with two motherboards. One was a Mac motherboard, the other was a PC-style motherboard with a 386 processor. The user could switch between the Mac OS and DOS by pressing Option-Tab. Cool idea, except that it cost quite a lot and the PC side was underpowered.
