hi everybody!

here is the problem: i ordered ubuntu over the net when i try to boot either the live or the install edititon, my pc freezes when i have to choose my language

i tried every expert boot options but it still doesn't work. could you help me please? i love linux :)

Ordered--as in paid money for? Because it sounds as if you have bum CDs...

try to boot with acpi disabled. Might also be a bad cd. Try burning your own

10 bum CDs, hmmmmmmmm, sounds a little bit unbeliveable
