I have a linksys WUSB11 version 2.5 adapter, can someone show me how to get it to work for ubuntu?

Try to find out what chipset it uses, I believe it is a prism2 in which case install linux-wlan-ng package from synaptic. I have a similar card and use them drivers. If you want you can use ndiswrapper aswell possibly. Plenty of ndiswrapper info on here.
