I am having a horrible time installing Ubuntu 8.10 64bit.

I have been running Ubuntu 8.10 32bit on my system for a while and decided to give the 32 bit a try. Big mistake. I now can't get either the 32 nor the 64 bit system to boot. When I reboot I get either grub error 22, 21, or 15. I have tried fixes for this and none of them work.

My system contains 2 SATA Drives, and one IDE (which i can do with out). I am just at a loss. I can get it to work I only have one SATA drive but as soon as I add the second drive the system no longer boots (usually grub error 22). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you... it ended up being something in the bios... I never even thought to look there. Thanks for the help.
