VNC won't work with MythTV

I just installed Mythbuntu and am having quite the problems but I'm trying to take care of them one at a time. Here is a VNC question:

I have VNC running on the mythbuntu box and connect no problem when I have my monitor hooked up.

BUT, when I disconnect the monitor, VNC doesn't start after reboot. I can ssh to the box.

Anyone know how to get VNC running even without a monitor?

I had alot of trouble with the 2 VNC options, one in Mythbuntu Control Panel and one in Ubuntu Remote Desktop settings.

I found it best to turn it off in Mythbuntu Control Panel and on in System -> Preferences -> Remote Desktop.

My VNC stopped working when I upgraded from 8.04 to 8.10 and the one thing that worked was changing my password in the Mythbuntu Control Center. I don't know why this did it but it did. I went from a 6 character password to a 7, if that helps.
