Hi all, I was just checking the blueprints to be discussed at UDS this time around.

The main themes seem to be :-

a. Mobility (Netbooks, Atom Processors you get the picture) b. Power-management (should relate to mobility as well) c. Fast boot-up d. Xorg

One of the more interesting ones seems to be this one

I'm sure this is what many would be interested as well.

Another interesting one is this one

I have never quite understood why we chose volid .

blkid is needed for moving to ext4 . Also don't we use blkid in our boot infrastructure

security improvements improvements to cruft remover better boot time

Another one thats really got me excited is the distributed development with bzr, some of its already in place along with the reorganisation of the archive which I think has been well overdue.
