Some websites just wont load, for example ebay.com, dell.com, and a few others, I get to a point then it just sits there, I don't think its my internet as other sites like this one work fine. I haven't the slightest clue what is going on.

Any help?? has anyone experienced anything like this?

As a first step I would rename .mozilla in your home folder to something else, and see if the problem persists/is firefox related. Do the websites load from a different browser (like Opera)?

Troubleshooting your actual network... do the websites load off of your ubuntu live-cd?

Either be patient and wait a minute or two or try to use the reload/refresh key or go back one site and then back to where your going.

I've had this issue with my Mini9 from the get go. Some sites just wait, sit and then suddenly load fine. I'm betting there are scripts sitting on the sites that the current (non-current) version of Firefox that Dell has bundled just doesn't like.

No proof since it's not always happening, but it's my guess... Now if Conical and Dell would get off their collective somethings and simply provide the tools to keep our collective repositories up to date...

But I digress. ;)

Some users are reporting issues with websites that rely on Flash (either being slow or sometimes crashing Firefox). The Mini 9 ships with Adobe Flash 9, but Flash 10 is now available.

There are Flash 10 installation instructions for the Mini here.
