Ok I have spent a lot of hours in the past few days trying to find a tutorial or any good info on how to get windows games to work on ubuntu 8.10 using programs such as wine and playonlinux. I havent had much luck.
The closest Ive gotten was installing The Witcher and in my attempt to run it, it wouldnt come out of the panel.
Is there anyone out there that could give me some tips, point me in the right direction, or possibly even walk me through some of this? And I know theres programs in which you pay for that can help install windows games but from what ive seen, it isnt necessary.
I have games such as RE4, Unreal Tournament 3, C&C 3, Stalker: Clear Sky if any one has experience getting those to work or know where to look.
