Information: Admins/mods that make Anouncements

Hi Mods/Admins (Or any one else that has these permissions :) )

I have noticed an increasing number of google results when searching for any thing to do with any of the keywords here...

Ubuntu 8.10 is out! You can find information on the new release by clicking here.

It makes it rather hard to find issues with network related issues only pertaining to 8.10/hardy as that announcement appears on every single page that is indexed by google so searching for "network issues hp 8.10" often yields results that have nothing to do with 8.10.

I know there is very little that can be done for actual announcements but just something to keep in mind.

Also could we please remove this 8.10 banner. I know it was asked before but I think under the circumstances I don't think it is still needed and relates to my point.

Like I said not a huge issue, but something to take note of.

This has been removed, if you continue to see it please clear your browsers cache. It's been replaced with a UDS message :)
