I think I understand the significance not having the GUI features of mplayer compiled in, but there doesn't appear to be any way to configure it other than editing the config file by hand. This I don't personally mind doing, but it could have saved me some time and some frustration if there were a front end for create the config file. I'm not talking having support of all the features of mplayer, but having support for turning on and off the ***/ssa subtitles, or changing the size and the location of the OSD font.
Maybe there already is somewhere where this is done, but I don't know. Anyone have any input?
