Neverball & Graphics in general

I just installed Neverball on my system, and I'm very impressed with it. Up until now, I always kind of assumed that the graphics and game play in Linux games would somehow be behind Windows games.

However, Neverball proved me wrong. The 3D graphics looked awesome, and the animation was very smooth.

Can anyone recommend any other Linux games that have the same "wow" factor?

I've always been a fan of the Tuxracer game in all of it's reincarnations:

While it's not the best game ever graphically it's quite fun.
