Hi, I have just installed Ubuntu but I assume I have the incorrect screen resolution as I can hardly make out anything. How do I go about changing the resoultion without having to reinstall bearing in mind I can't actually read any on the menus - it's a bit like intuitive surfing.

Linux actually gives you more than one screen, usually 7. So, once the pc has booted up use one of those and work from there, e.g: ALT+any one of the the first six function keys (eg. ALT+F2) ALT+F7 is the gui (which is usually the default) and the one you can't currently read :)

:cool: The problem is that the screen resolution is so bad that I can't actually read anything so I am literally working blind
