Axis Problem in pSX

I just installed pSX (after I couldn't get ePSXe working for the life of me) and it all seems good, it looks like it will run fine, I just can't get my controller to work properly.

When I try to configure the pad, all the buttons will register in pSX but the axes will not. They all worked in jstest and jscalibrator (which I have since purged at the advice of another topic) but they just don't work in pSX. Any ideas?

I have a Logitech Cordless RumblePad 2 on pSX in Ubuntu Hardy 8.04.

Hi, I'm having the same exact problem, only that in my case it happens in all the programs or games I want to use the joystick on.

I have a Psx joystick with an usb adaptor. The axis work in the calibration programs but when I want to configure the axis in a program, simple don't recognize them as buttons.

I'm using Ubuntu 8.10 "intrepid Ibex"

Your problem lies with jscalibrator. This program has been known to cause problems like those you are experiencing (controller appears to work fine in jscalibrator but the dpad/axis don't work in games).

There is a solution to completely removing jscalibrator and related files, I just don't have the link on me right now. Try searching for it.
