Edubuntu Cirriculum

Along with my earlier post here, as I pitch the idea of ubuntu (specifically edubuntu) I need to address a simple issue.

Is there any type of curriculum for ubuntu/openoffice.org? Right now, the computer classes use a Microsoft Office book for their curriculum. If anything is out there (preferably open-sourced) that could be use, it would be awesome.

Also, what do you think should be in a curriculum for -

Elementary (K-5th grade) JH - (7-8 grade) HS - (9-12)

It depends. Things seem to be changing on what might be useful to teach to kids these day's.

I haven't heard of much curriculum out there, so it looks like it might have to be a community effort to create some. Take a look here:

To be honest i don't think there should be curriculum teaching office. Maybe excel/powepoint stuff, but that's about it. Take my advice, kids hate "learning" office.

curriculum for K-5th: simple computer programs. -Tuxpaint -some math programs (or math games) -spelling game? -typing program?

curriculum for 7-8 maybe a little bit o excel/ppt skills. maybe intro to programming? (greenfoot project)

curriculum for high school preparing research paper knowledge programming classes (greenfoot, python, maybe even others) graphics classes (inkscape, GIMP, kolourpaint) Physics programs Chemistry programs -other useful stuff.
