DarU3 with ubuntu 8.10 and vmware workstation 6.5

Hi there, I run System76 Darker Ultra 3 with Ubuntu 8.10. I installed without any problem Vmware Workstation 6.5 64bit.

I can create any vm (linux, windows) but when I start a vm, either linux or windows vm, I cannot use my arrows key or Del key neither my @ character.

Is anyone having this problem?

I tried many keyboard setup with same result.
