xP Hello. I have a Dell Inspiron 1100 with XP. I would like to get some new life to this notebook computer and was wondering what version Ubuntu would be good to install on it.
Right now I am using a DARU3 from System76(.com) with Ubuntu 8.10 on it. The old Dell computer is still operational, however, very slow compared to my new notebook.

Whichever you like I suppose, depends on personal preference. A minimal install with something like openbox would be light but all should work - it's personal preference

Xubuntu is the best official version of Ubuntu for older hardware, in my opinion.
