Black screen when logout, reboot or shutdown

I have a ATI Radeon X800XT PE and I follow This HOWTO and now when I for example, logout I cant see the login screen, is there but cant see it, the monitor goes completely black same happen when I try to shutdown or reboot, the process still there and my computer shutdown or reboot, but cant see the process.

Any help??

You'll want to check out the Rage3D board as well. It's probably a bug related to the driver and your hardware setup. I sometimes get a checkboard pattern when I shut down my machine.
