I am a fresh Ubuntu user and have been converting all my Microsoft PC's in to a Ubuntu system. I have been very please with this so far and was wondering if there is any options for mobile devices running a similar system instead of Microsoft Mobile and still be able to work with the cell phone company?
I am a Verizon user and would be loving a new OS.

I have the xv6900
It is one of the HTC Touch versions.
Unfortunately this does not seem like a possibility. The ability to install Linux on random phones just isn't there yet. Oh, and Verizon would screw you.
