Hello
I've just installed Ubuntu 5.10 on my PC which has a kernel 2.6.12-9. Everything went fine during installation, but I don't have a sound. Error message says that system doesn't have a sound card.
My PC is Dell Precision 410 with Pentium 400MHz and Crystal CS4237B sound device which is built in the motherboard. I can connect to the Internet using Windows, but not using Ubuntu at the moment. If I save driver for Linux (not for Windows) on Windows, will I be able to read that driver file for hard disk when I reboot and start using Ubuntu?
Thanks a lot in advance for your suggestions.
