Leading in Inkscape and GIMP

Is there such thing in Inkscape or GIMP?

Ya, that's it! Sorry, I meant kerning for GIMP, I wrote my question too fast. And what about underlining or italizing or having multiple colours and fonts in a text box? Seems sort of ridiculous that these are not default and you're force to use multiple text boxes for it.

That's it, thanks. Ctrl + Shift + T... I never would have guessed. To me, Inkscape's interface is so extremelly unintuitive that I get lost very easily.

If you haven't already, watch the screencast tutorials at http://screencasters.heathenx.org/ to learn inkscape. I just started playing with inkscape a few weeks ago, and I probably would have stopped quickly if it weren't for those screencasts.
