I don't own a large enough thumb drive. Can I use a seperate card reader and SD card to install Ubuntu? Are they essentially recognized the same way? My Mini arrived today with XP. I am going to lose XP all together.
Thanks
Joe

Yes, that should work. You will have to use a USB card reader, the Mini can't boot from the internal SD slot. It might be a painfully slow install process, but it should work just fine.
thanks. I plan on trying this shortly when I get home from work.
