Since Nobody could help me out in a different section of the forum, lets see if anybody here has an idea.
Okay able-forum-users,
I'm going to be teaching a bunch of high-schoolers how to program a robot for the U.S. F.I.R.S.T. competition, and I need to learn how to implement an API for c++ on ubuntu, It's located here: http://users.wpi.edu/~bamiller/WPILib/ But even more than that, I don't know how difficult it is going to be to teach them how to install their own compiler with API (and on what O.S. too!) To circumnavigate this problem, I thought that I might install ubuntu with a c++ environment and API already set up onto a flash drive/CD/DVD. Is this possible? Is there a C18 compiler out there for ubuntu? Am I crazy?
