Pinnacle studio 11 on ubuntu 8.10

hello, in band class I am doing a band project with movies, and since it is not on, I decided to put Pinnacle studio on my laptop. One problem. i cant run the installer. it gives me an error and then terminates in wine, and in crossover, it freezes up, and i have to crtl-alt-backspace my system. Is there a way to get this on? I really don't plan on getting used to any other movie editor either.

I've got the same problem with Pinnacle Studio 12 in Wine. Has somebody succeeded to implement it???

well, last I looked both 11 and 12 were rated "garbage" so we will have to wait. besides, I only had this problem because ,y windows was not running, and it is fine now.:):D:):KS
