I just bought an Inspiron Mini 9 with Ubuntu. The Firefox browser it comes with has a Yahoo toolbar. I was wondering if there was any way to get rid of it and replace it with a Google toolbar instead?

If it's like any other ubuntu there is a drop down next to the search so you can choose the search engine just to the right of the "Y" you can choose your default there too.
Just go to the toolbar View/Toolbars and turnoff or on which ever one you like. Doing it this way leaves the toolbar gadget on your system but it's just not seen. If you don't want it at all, go to the software management section and uninstall/uncheck the package and hit apply. I'm a very new Ubuntu user (4days old) and find that it's a very friendly system to customize.
