Installation is on HP tc4400 TabletPC.
I update my working Intrepid installation to the current Jaunty, the same way I did with Hardy->Intrepid.
The first thing I noticed is that my dedicated audio buttons (volume up, down and mute) work again, which they stopped doing when I finally did a clean install of Hardy release.
But my Intel graphics got screwed.
fester@fester-tabletpc:~$ glxinfo | grep renderer
OpenGL renderer string: Software Rasterizer
In /var/log/Xorg.0.log everything seems normal, the driver is loaded and initialized, the chipset is recognised, DRI is enabled.
I tried reconfigureing xorg.conf, and nothing.
glxgears run at ~150fps, and Compiz is unusable.
The other issue is with the wireless card and the kill switch. The card is Mini PCI-E 3945ABG. In the release notes of Intrepid it was stated that currently there are some problems with some configurations, that would be fixed. And yet, with 2.6.28-2-generic the problem is still here. If I boot with kill switch disabled I am unable to enable the wifi card. And if I disable it, while it is running, then most of the time I can't reenable it.
